John Brownlee

For over 40 years I have been a psychotherapist and life coach working extensively throughout the US and internationally. I have encountered individuals from all walks of life, including CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, who have endured or are still dealing with the deep pain of betrayal.

Betrayal is a near-universal experience. The destruction it causes can be devastating emotionally, relationally, and financially to the person betrayed while the betrayer walks off unconcerned, with few consequences.

I hold an MA in Sociology and Counseling from Ball State University and have completed postgraduate training in Marriage and Family Systems from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. I am a long-time member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I am a psychotherapist and executive coach in Nashville, TN.
