Wade DeHate

With forty-five years of service in both Fire Rescue and emergency response teaching and consulting, Florida native Wade DeHate polished his writing skills with both technical accuracy and sharing information through storytelling. As a lifelong outdoorsman, former scoutmaster, and Life Member of Trout Unlimited, he got hooked on fly fishing during a guided trip in Montana on the Bitterroot river. He has since fly fished in many venues in and out of the United States, and as a result Wade and Robin spend much of their time fishing the Cumberland River tailwater from their home in Kentucky.
