Other areas of expertise include industrial business linkage, economic development, market research and studies, export promotions and feasibility and national capacity assessment studies for all sectors of the textile, apparel, leather, footwear sectors supply chain.

Dr. Dagher spent enormous energy researching and analyzing what drives leading manufacturing businesses and why the apparel industry is, for the most part, unable to achieve the same world-class excellence. It became his mission to bring the apparel industry into the same realm by developing talented professionals to spread the culture of continuous improvement throughout the world’s garment factories. This was understandable given the lack of effective leadership and management support towards real change. Dagher became extremely frustrated as his quest for a revolution in the apparel sector stalled. That is the reason behind his books – to reach a large number of leaders who are interested in raising the apparel industry’s standards to become a world-class manufacturing platform. He has published books dealing with a wide variety of topics related to strategic and operational planning, Lean management and engineering, kaizen cost reduction strategy, etc.

Dr. Dagher has worked closely with major brands/retailers/buying offices and has also worked in projects with government agencies, trade and industry associations and manufacturers throughout the export world. He is extremely active in research and studies and participated in workshops, seminars and conferences include improving manufacturing processes, optimizing manufacturing resources, stimulating lean thinking, formulating and deploying performance, improving workflow in office area, optimizing manufacturing costs, etc.
