Lynne Edwards (or Groovy as she is called by her school community) is a Primary (elementary) teacher of over 30 years in Australia, She is accustomed to using creative processes to produce interesting, useful and educational materials for her students and now also finds joy in putting these skills to good use in creating a variety of books for a wider audience. Her library of creations are diverse, but are a true reflection of her life, work, interests and hobbies. Groovy is a Performing Arts Teacher currently, specialising in music, dance and drama, but also was a general classroom teacher for many years. Her hobbies are horse riding, having been a pony club member as a child and English and Western rider in her adulthood, relaxing at her local beach, spoiling her dogs, writing screenplays for school musical productions and playing a variety of instruments. Groovy has travelled Australia extensively, gold panning and detecting with some success, and has a great love of the Aussie outback. Groovy is married and has four grown up children.
All of these experiences are reflected in the diverse range of books Groovy creates, with the running theme being that learning is lifelong and should be fun.
