James L DeVriendt II

James DeVriendt is the consummate professional. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management focusing on Leadership and a master's in Healthcare Management from the University of Michigan-Flint. Never one to rest on his base, James continues developing his knowledge and skillsets to help himself and those around him. He has made a career out of developing others, knowing the fundamentals of true success depend on how well those around him perform.

James is a United States Marine Corps combat veteran with a wealth of technical expertise. He has spent much of his career developing sales strategies for Fortune 100 and 500 companies and is an acclaimed public speaker. Despite over 20 years of professional experience, James dedicates several hours weekly to improving his employees' work experience quality.

Passionate in all he does, James spent just as much time giving back to the community. He taught public speaking to inner-city children and donated his time and energy to multiple organizations. James did this for one simple reason: it is the right thing to do.

He recently decided to turn his creativity to writing. His first book, Shine, reflects early life experiences that have made him into the man, father, and leader he is today.
