Ellen Rubinstein

Ellen Rubinstein has always been passionate about reading and writing, earning a BA in English Literature from Cornell University. As she went on to study science, earning a Doctorate in Engineering at Rensselaer, becoming a research scientist in industry then a professor of Chemistry at two New Jersey universities, she continued to read and write.

Her publications include a memoir of experiences abroad during college years (A JOURNEY, AuthorHouse, ISBN# 1-4033-1738-0), a fiction novel (She Sought, He Sought, PublishAmerica, ISBN# 1-4241-0951-5), and a more recent novel, based partially on real-life events (PROXIMITY, AuthorHouse, ISBN# 978-1-7823-1902-5).

All are available from amazon.com and have received positive feedback from discussion groups, book signings, online reviews, and personal messages. The Monmouth County NJ Public Library System has purchased multiple copies of A JOURNEY, and listed it for Book Club use. Copies of PROXIMITY are now also available in the Monmouth County system.

As a nature-lover, the author is amazed by the beauty around us. She enjoys taking long walks, often photographing inspiring images.
