Jackson Cooper

Jackson Cooper (he/him) is an assistant professor of arts administration at Elon University. He is an author and academic based in North Carolina. A seasoned nonprofit executive and expert, Cooper has 15+ years experience managing nonprofits and cultural organizations, holding leadership roles act the American Genre Film Archive, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Mary's Place, the North Carolina Museum of Art, and Chamber music Raleigh. He has taught nonprofit leadership at UNC-Greensboro and Seattle University and was recognized by Puget Sound Business Journal's 40 Under 40 and UNCG's Young Alumni Award for his leadership in nonprofits.

He is the author of "A Kid's Book About Kindness" and runs Artful Living Consulting, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to leadership in nonprofits and the arts. He holds degrees from UNC-Greensboro and Seattle University.
