Richard Venable

Richard Venable has worked for many years in both education and business. Worship Leading Essentials is his first book, written after he felt God calling him to write the beginners' manual for young worship leaders that he wished his sons had when starting out.

Richard is married to Teresa and lives in Southampton, England with his youngest son, an ageing rabbit, and a much older but friskier tortoise! He has served as worship leader, congregation leader, and trustee for his church, King's Church Southampton. His blog at worshipleadingessentials.org is regularly updated and features new songs, inspiring quotations from the likes of Spurgeon and Tozer, as well as general reflections on worship and worship leading.
