Will Brehm is an Associate Professor in Comparative and International Education at the University of Canberra. He is also an Adjunct Researcher at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Study, Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan) and an Honorary Adjunct Professor at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia). His research interests include the intersection of comparative and international education with international relations and the political economy of development, focused primarily in Southeast Asia.
Will is author of Cambodia for Sale (Routledge 2021), and co-editor of Memory in the Mekong (Teachers College Press 2022), and Education and Power in Contemporary in Contemporary Southeast Asia (Routledge 2023). He also hosts the FreshEd podcast, which he founded in 2015.
