Navy veteran, Robert Wood, was born in Wyoming, lived in Midwest and all four quadrants of the U.S., Norway, Scotland, France, and has travelled widely, making do in five languages. Princeton, University of Minnesota, University of Edinburgh and the University of Oklahoma are his alma matters.
As a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with post-doctoral degrees in Tropical Medicine and Epidemiology, and as a professor at Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma, orchard grower, cattle feeder, angler, hiker, DIY’er, and a myriad of other interests, he has drawn upon his life to comment via poetry, urged on by family and friends. These poetically emotive works are just part of his pasticcio.
