Growing up in Germany and earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Felix Dey seemed destined for a life in business. However, completing workshops at Jonathan Solomon's School for Stand-Up, Adam Barnhardt’s Comedy Therapy at The Clown House and The Groundlings School changed his path.
Dey is an engineer in sunlight, but at night transforms into a werewolf…er…standup comic!
Dey finds excitement on the stage, but noticed that many of his hilarious peers are honest and open about their extraordinary psychological battles. Dey analyzed depression from the viewpoints of both entertainers and mental health professionals. The results are found in his book The Ironic Link: How Comedy Overcomes Depression.
