ANDREW HOPE

My name is Andrew Hope, nice to meet you. A few people who have read my work wonder if this is my real name or a pseudonym. I write about awful things happening to people just like you and me. The worst kind of things. I'm a horror writer, you see. But no, my name isn't a cleverly ironic nom de plume, it's my actual name!

I was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, but have lived in Minnesota since 1999. Prior to being a best-selling author, I was involved in comics! I drew one of Mark (Kickass, The Ultimates, Kingsman) Millar's first comic books - The Shadowmen - and wrote the handsomely illustrated Marvel Comics book, Fantomex Max.

Writing is my passion, and I love to work within the horror genre. I live with my wife and some cats, and love them all!
