Esther Erman

Like her heroine Rebecca, Esther is a member of a refugee family. She arrived in the US at the ripe old age of five months, despite an almost shipwreck in the Atlantic. Passionate about language, books, quilts, and baking, she is currently writing her family story. Living in the California Bay Area with her handsome husband, Esther loves to travel -- especially to see family in New Jersey and England.
