I am a Resilience Culture Architect, Professor of Practice, and internationally certified Trainer, Consultant, and Practitioner with over 39 years of industry experience, including 19+ years in the full spectrum of resilience. My expertise span Operational Resilience, Organisational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management & Communication, Risk Management, and Cybersecurity.

I previously served as Program Director – Operational Resilience at EY, where I supported HSBC UK in delivering one of their major transformation programmes in Operational Resilience. Over my career, I have worked across multiple countries, industries, and regulatory environments, bringing practical, real-world insight into resilience design and implementation.

I have held senior leadership and executive roles such as CIO, COO, VP, Global Head, Practice Head, Board Member, Program Director, and Consultant. I have successfully delivered hundreds of projects and training interventions for more than 100 organisations in over 20 countries, along with mentoring more than 3,000 students globally. My professional journey includes working with TCS, Xansa/Steria, EY/HSBC, SAFE, Chitkara University, and his own consulting firm.

My portfolio includes more than 30 successful BCM and resilience interventions for clients such as Canon (India), Dr. Reddy’s, RasGas, Emirates Investment Bank, RBI (as supervisor), Emirates Investment Authority, Etihad Rail, Al Hilal Bank, Al Ahli Bank, HSBC, IBM, Infosys, TMTC/Tata Motors, Reliance Life Insurance, HDFC Life Insurance, Maersk, Vodafone, Wipro, ADEC, Max Life Insurance, TRANSCO, Neuland Laboratories, Bangalore International Airport Limited, and many others.

I am known for designing and facilitating high-impact Crisis Simulation Exercises for the top management of 15+ organisations, and for his ability to awaken bored resilience professionals, helping organisations shift from compliance to culture and build operational maturity with measurable outcomes.

A prolific thinker, I am an invited LinkedIn Top Voice with more than 200 published articles, an IEEE Ambassador, and a part of the BCI Hall of Fame. I have authored 10 books on BCM and Resilience, developed 40+ global courses (including for BCS, BCI, and NCEMA), delivered 15,500+ hours of training, and hold 20 copyrights.

I carry multiple professional credentials including FBCI, CBCI, SMIEEE, M.IOD, ISO 22301 LA & Expert, and Cybersecurity (ISCē). I am also a Qualified Independent Director under the Government of India scheme.

I contribute to the Resilience Community through BCI’s global events, webinars, interviews, education initiatives, award judging, articles, conference speaking and my own website that is soon going to touch 100 free blogs and has 4 free courses for al.

Today, through my signature approach and the Resiliency OPD model, I help organisations measure, mature, and mobilise resilience, architecting balanced resilience cultures tailored to their reality — because resilience, as I emphasise, is not built once; it is built repeatedly.
