Michael S. Arthur

Dr. Michael Arthur, a seasoned author and educator, has a passion for helping others who’ve gone through similar challenges in life. He is a scholar with a doctorate degree in education and hails from Concordia University in the United States. He is not only an experienced academic but a dedicated family man, finding his greatest joy in his marriage and a proud parent of four grown children.

Dr. Arthur's professional journey has been as diverse as it is enriching. His experience includes serving as News Director for a cluster of radio stations nestled in the picturesque landscapes of southern Oregon. Beyond the airwaves, he has extended his knowledge and expertise to the realm of education, donning the roles of an in-class business instructor at a community college in Oregon and a dedicated professor at Concordia University. These roles have not only enriched his understanding of various subjects but also honed his skills as a communicator and mentor.

However, it is Dr. Arthur's passion for the written word that also brings him great intrigue. His dedication to the craft of writing has led him on a remarkable journey, culminating in the publication of his first traditionally published book, which is now accessible to readers across the globe thanks to the publishers at Taylor & Francis (Routledge). “Embracing Hope after Traumatic Brain Injury” carries a profound message of encouragement, offering solace and guidance to individuals and families touched by the complexities of brain injury.

As he continues to explore the landscape of human emotion and experience, Dr. Arthur is currently working on his next book, a devotional entitled, "40 Days to Eden." This book is a 40-day journey comforting those struggling with loneliness after losing a spouse or other close loved one. Through personal stories, anecdotes, and scriptural references, this devotional provides a unique perspective in highlighting God as our paracletos, or one called along side to help. "40 Days to Eden" will be released some time in 2025.
