JOHN BOSCO

John Joseph Bosco Jr spent forty years as a librarian and library trustee — which means he knows better than most what makes a book truly worth reading aloud. A proud Air Force veteran and long-time ESL tutor, John has spent his life believing that learning should feel like an adventure, not a chore. His debut picture book, Letters vs Numbers: A Battle for the Ages, was born from that belief. Co-created with his wife Rosemary — a third-grade teacher who knows exactly what makes children laugh and lean in — the book puts the alphabet and the number line in a boxing ring and lets them settle things the old-fashioned way. It is a classroom read-aloud, a grandparent-and-grandchild moment, and a gentle, joyful argument that every child deserves to find learning fun. John lives with the conviction that the right book, in the right hands, at the right moment, can change how a child sees the world
