Gordon B. Schmidt

Gordon B. Schmidt is a professor of management and the Director of the David and Sharon Turrentine School of Management at the University of Louisiana Monroe. He researches leadership and how the Future of Work impacts employee relations. He co-edited a book on how social media is used in selection and wrote "Leaders Assemble: Leadership in the MCU", teaching leadership through MCU films. He is currently writing a book looking at Avatar: The Last Airbender and leadership. Dr. Schmidt teaches courses in training, organizational behavior and leadership. He has published and presented on his teaching innovations. He consults related to leadership, training, virtual leadership, and using superheroes to help learning in organizations.
