Samuel Larsen-Disney

Sam studied computer science at King's College, London. He helped design and build American Express' websites. He then moved to BehaviourLab where he led frontend development, before deciding he wanted to get out of finance. He has since become a product engineer at Amplitude. He has attended over 50+ hackathons as an attendee, mentor or sponsor and won over $85,000 in hackathon prize money in 2022.

He is most at home coding in React, JavaScript, GraphQL, and Gatsby but is always open to learning something new. When coding, he likes to ensure his code is accessible and performant. In the last year, Sam has contributed 1,300+ times to open source projects.
