Elizabeth Bogart

Elizabeth Bogart, founder of HEARTWORK, has been a lover and collector of children's books forever! She often buys them like souvenirs from local authors from the different places she lived and travelled. She's been told by her mother than she's been story-boarding and writing since she was a little girl. Mimi's Masks: A tribute to the women of Quincy is her first published children's book, written in collaboration with Kayt Norris and illustrated by Peggy Powers Phillips. This is a book written for Kayt's mom (about Kayt's mom) as a holiday gift that the trio fell in love with so much, they had to share it with the rest of the world.

Once upon a time, Elizabeth was a Special Education and High School English Teacher. This early career taught her to honor different learning and working styles, and had her falling in love with the brain's many pathways of processing and expressing information. As a yoga teacher and reiki practitioner, Elizabeth now works with expectant mothers, families preparing to conceive, educators, astrology lovers, and folks interested in starting a meditation practice. Underpinning every product, service, or offering is the reminder that to re-meet your essence, fall in love with your strengths, and feel safe to share them with the world. In most of her offerings, she weaves together aspects of movement, meditation, and journaling as a form of self-study and self-care.

You can find her on Instagram (@eb_heartwork) or connect via e-mail at eb.heartwork@gmail.com to stay up-to-date on her many offerings. Join her newsletter for a weekly "inspiration in your inbox" or explore ways to work with her via linktr.ee/eb.heartwork.

She currently lives in Chicago but is dreaming of the day she can be a bit nomadic and hop scotch around the world Eat Pray Love style.
