Alan S. Yeung

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Alan Yeung attended Salesian School, a Catholic school, for his primary and secondary education before coming to the U.S. at the age of 17. A first-generation college graduate in his family, Yeung received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering from UW-Madison, his MS and PhD degrees from Stanford University, and his MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.

An engineer by training, Yeung led product development at Raychem, a high-tech firm in California, before joining an Internet startup and co-founding his own.

Later, Yeung relocated to Greater China and became a corporate executive at Inventec Corporation, Foxconn Technology Group and MediaMarkt China.

Recently, Yeung rejoined Foxconn to lead Project FLYING EAGLE to reshore electronics manufacturing back to America.

Alan Yeung had taught mobile technology at San Jose State University and served on startup and nonprofit boards including the Board of Trustees at Shanghai American School.

Alan supported marine and coral reef conservation and had spoken about K-12 education and marine research at symposia and universities including the University of Oxford.

Yeung is an avid Scuba diver, sailor, nature enthusiast, pet-lover and Wisconsinite. He lives in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his family.
