ML Condike’s novels, The Desk From Hoboken and The Doll From Dunedin are the first two books in a genealogy mystery series. Her story blends facts with fiction, using actual historical records with current technology to solve a centuries-old cold cases.

Book 3 in the series, The Brooch from Chihuahua, is coming in the fall of 2026. It takes RaeJean Hunter, the genealogist to a new, higher level of danger as she investigates the disappearance of Yda Hillis Addis in 1902. El Paso may have been one of the safest border towns, but not for RaeJean.

She’s published in seven anthologies: two with the Granbury Writers’ Bloc (2019, 2022); one with the Key West Writers Guild (2023); and four with SinC North Dallas (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025).

She completed the Writer’s Path at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2019 and is a member of MWA, Florida Chapter, Sisters in Crime National, Sisters in Crime North Dallas, Sisters in Crime National, and the Key West Writers Guild.
