Kristen Herrington

Growing up in a farming community where cows outnumber people, abstract artist Kristen Herrington draws upon life’s simple moments as inspiration for her paintings. Her interests range in spectrum from politics to petting zoos, bringing versatility to her creative approach. She has collaborated with more than 50 artists throughout her career and has work showcased around the globe. Herrington has recently been featured in international magazine, “Here and There” and won Best Visual Artist in this year’s “Best of Halifax” awards. She released her first co-authored travel book in November 2021 with musician husband, Michael S. Ryan.
