Steve Garthe

I was born in Seattle, Washington and currently reside in Des Moines with my wife, son, and our devoted dog Cinder. I really enjoy spending time in the forest and sitting by the river, where I can listen to the sounds of nature and its surroundings. Walking in the mountains with my family allows me to clear my head and produce new ideas resulting in the addition of new and exciting adventures for my current and upcoming books.

As a youngster growing up in different parts of the country, I found myself exploring new places and broadening my imagination while also getting myself into trouble while searching for possible treasure of my own. I developed a passion for adventure as a result of my explorations, and have begun writing novels based on my interests of Templars, hidden riches, and American history.

I began writing Adventures of the Eagle Talon Treasure when I was thirteen years old, but took a break from it to finish College, broaden my career options, and start a family before continuing with it again. I told these stories through the eyes of my son Nj, and the series will continue as I have a lot of new adventures to share with the rest of the globe.
