Bruce Beveridge

BRUCE BEVERIDGE (United States) has been a historian for many years, with interests in a wide range of subjects from the Southwest Suburbs of the City of Chicago to famous tall ships and Ocean Liners. He had been the senior historical archivist for his local community library and spent his time away from Titanic working on local history projects until his move to Mid-Florida where he enjoys his time working in his Apollo Art Studio with his wife Michele.

Bruce is one of the foremost visual and technical historians of the Olympic class ships. He has undertaken public speaking seminars and has advised on Titanic's specifications for the news media, artifact exhibitors, publishing companies, scale model manufacturers such as the Danbury Mint and Minicraft, museum archivists, television production companies in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, the auction firm of Henry Aldridge & Son and other entities. Bruce's highly sought-after General Arrangement plan of Titanic, released in 2003, is one of the most detailed and accurate plans released to date and has subsequently been used by dive teams investigating the wreck.

Bruce has written articles for many of the Titanic enthusiast organizations worldwide and has co-authored digital material and literary works such as Titanic or Olympic - The Truth behind the Conspiracy in 2004; Titanic in Photographs 2011; The Report into the Loss of the SS Titanic: A Centennial Reappraisal 2011 and the RMS Titanic Colouring Book 2017. His crowning achievement is being the main author of Titanic the Ship Magnificent Vol. I and II published in 2008, with coauthors Scott Andrews, Steve Hall, Art Braunschweiger and Daniel Klistorner.
