William Wildey

William Wildey believes there is nothing trivial about trivia. He has had a love for trivia and interesting, sometimes obscure, knowledge most of his life and has been actively playing trivia with friends for more than a decade. In playing trivia, he has learned that winning is less important than having fun!

He earned a degree in communications from William Paterson University and spent the majority of his career working in the development department of a global humanitarian organization. His work and personal experiences have taken him to many countries where he has always enjoyed getting to know the local people and their customs. In traveling, he has received some of the most amazing hospitality from some of the poorest people.

During his career, he had the the opportunity to work with such artists as Harry Chapin, Pete Seeger, and Lou Rawls.

His wonderful wife, Maureen, and he have a daughter and two grandsons of whom they are very proud.

William has been called a master storyteller and has taught the art of storytelling to individuals and organizations. He particularly loves to use humor as a way to engage others. And, if you meet him, you might ask him about the time that his sense of humor saved him when a rifle was being pointed at his face.
