Kira Wayne

Kira currently lives in Washington DC with her husband, three children five and under, and their two dogs. She previously lived and worked in the Middle East, and North Africa for several years, where she was inspired to write her first children's book about the cat she adopted while living in Cairo. With Zafirah the Egyptian Cat, Kira aims to show children how beautiful this part of the world is and spark inter-cultural understanding, and curiosity.
