Ester Teper

Ester Teper is a chemical engineering major in Vanderbilt University’s Class of 2022. In high school, Ester aced psychology courses at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and completed an Associate Degree in piano from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. Outside of the Vanderbilt bubble, Ester likes spending her time kickboxing, strength training, and tutoring.

It was through tutoring that Ester discovered her ability to aptly articulate even the trickiest of concepts. Ester took this experience to her leadership positions in Vanderbilt’s Jewish community, serving as the Chabad Student President, as well as ‘Dores for Israel President. In writing her debut nonfiction Unfocused, she uncovers the role of self-actualization in her own life journey as well as helping others to do so.
