Allen J. Huth

Allen J. Huth is the Founder and President of the Ezra Project. The Ezra Project’s mission is to re-connect God’s people to God’s Word.

At age 15, Allen was in a tragic car accident. God saved his life physically and spiritually that day. That night, he started reading the Bible. Allen has been a daily Bible reader for over fifty years. He started keeping journals of his daily Bible reading over forty years ago.

He recorded over 950,000 words found on ADDBIBLE, an audio daily devotion, and authored an 11-book series of daily devotions called Day by Day Through the Bible. Both ADDBIBLEŽ and Day by Day cover all sixty-six books of the Bible, chapter by chapter.

Allen has been an active volunteer in The Gideons International for over forty years. He served as the international president, international vice president, and international treasurer.

He has spoken in over forty-five countries. Ezra Project messages resulted in thousands committing to daily Bible reading.

Allen and his wife Terry have been married nearly fifty years. They have three adult children and five grandchildren. He loves being by the water, baseball, and listening to music rather than watching TV.
