Dr. Xiao-Jun Yang, a full Professor of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, at China University of Mining and Technology, China. He was selected as a Foreign Fellow of Pakistan Academy of Sciences in 2023. His scientific interests include Mathematical Physics, Fractional Calculus and Applications, Fractals, Mechanics, Number Theory, Integral Transforms and Special Functions. He is a distinguished scientist in King Abdulaziz University (KAU, Saudi Arabia) and eminent scholar in Kyung Hee Univeristy (KHU, Republic of Korea). He is Highly Cited Researcher in Mathematics (2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022), and Most Cited Chinese Researcher in Mathematics (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022). He has received, among others, 2022 Obada Prize for Distinguished Scientist (Egypt, 2022), Atanasije Stojkovič Medal (Serbia, 2021), Abel Award for Young Scientist (Turkey, 2020), Springer Distinguished Researcher Award (India, 2019), Young Scientist Award for the contributions in developing the Local Fractional Calculus (Istanbul, Turkey, 2019), Obada Prize for Young Distinguished Researcher (Egypt, 2019), Jiangsu Educational Science Research Achievement Award (Jiangsu, China, 2018), and Heilongjiang Province Science and Technology Progress Award (Heilongjiang, China, 2018). He is the author and co-author of 7 monographs for Elsevier, Springer Nature, CRC, World Science and Asian Academic, and co-editor of one edited book in De Gruyter.
