Chaplain Behnken earned a Master of Divinity degree (Magna cum Laude) at Asbury Theological Seminary in 1984. He received a Master of Science Degree in Marriage, Family and Community Development at the University of of Maryland, College Park in 1992. He was a Clinical Member of AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy). Dixey was an U.S. Army Chaplain 26 years and he directed three Family Life Ministries and Training Centers.
