Amy Trauger is a Professor of Geography at the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, GA. She is currently a Fulbright Scholar and Canada Research Chair in Food Security at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. She is the author of We Want Land to Live! published by the University of Georgia Press in 2017 and has published three other books. She is the co-editor with Dr. Jennifer Fluri of the Gender, Feminism and Geography series at the University of West Virginia Press. She is the founding member of the Pennsylvania chapter of WAgN, co-founder of the Supporting Women in Geography chapter at Penn State and CounterSpace in Athens GA, and Co-Convenor with Dr. Jennifer Rice of the Athena Co-Learning Collective at UGA.
