Miriam Mason

Born and educated in the UK, since 2000, Miriam has lived in Sierra Leone and led EducAid to establish values-led programming to achieve a bold vision of a dignified, democratic and globally engaged Sierra Leone where poverty is eradicated by educated citizens. With an inspiring team of 90%+ alumni, EducAid runs a network of model schools at the heart of outreach programmes transforming education for thousands of Sierra Leonean children across the country. EducAid is a values-led organisation with a robust and deliberate preoccupation with gender equity, human rights and environmental protection, among others.
