Heather Wilson is an author of fictional stories ranging in different genres. The style of her writing has been likened to that of action packed video games or anime, and she is a proud NaNoWriMo participant and winner. In her free time, she enjoys learning other languages and immersing herself into fiction at any opportunity. It was her love of fiction which initially drove her to pursue writing as a career from the tender age of eleven.
During her time at Santa Ana College, Wilson was recognized and awarded a scholarship by the Literary Guild of Orange County due to her passion of writing. Other accomplishments she heavily takes pride in include graduating with honors, membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and stumping her grandfather, who was renowned for his expansive vocabulary, with the use of the word "hamartia" in an analytical essay of Brutus as a tragic hero. She later amassed editorial experience with the undergraduate literary journal Echolalia during her time at UC Irvine.
