Dr. Thomas K. Carr, O.P., holds the M.Div. degree in Church History from Princeton Theological Seminary where he converted to the Catholic Church after studying the Church Fathers. He went on to earn M.Phil. and D.Phil. degrees in Theology and Philosophy from Oxford University. He served as a tenured Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies for 17 years before resigning to launch a publishing business. He has written numerous books and articles, and has been a featured author in First Things, Catholic Herald, and a lecturer for the Institute of Catholic Culture.
Dr. Carr lives in Ave Maria, Florida, with his wife Ina and two of their three children. He devotes his time to writing, teaching, and lecturing. He and Ina lead a Lay Dominican chapter and are active in retreat ministry.
Dr. Carr is founder and CEO of New Ardor Press, a publication portal dedicated to restoring traditional Catholic teaching and devotion.
