Anne Parsons

Anne Parsons is the author of Caspar Jones: The Undercover Police Dog, her debut children’s novel inspired by a real-life husky named Caspar.

Caspar joined Anne’s family after a difficult start in his first home. During a visit to her parents, Anne met him properly for the first time, a quiet moment on the rug, his chin resting on his paws, eyes meeting hers. The thought came unbidden: This is the story of Caspar Jones. From that moment, a friendship formed, and the writing began.

What started as short vignettes capturing Caspar’s husky quirks soon grew into full-blown adventures, introducing characters like Mia, Billy, DC Craddock, and Special Agent Celeste Syed, all woven into a tale of loyalty, mischief, and quiet courage.

Anne is also a poet and mindfulness teacher, using creativity and literature to support writing, wellbeing, and reflective practice. Through her mindfulness and wellbeing website, she explores themes of workplace culture, leadership, and group psychology, always with a focus on emotional clarity and relational insight.

Her writing has appeared in Kaleidoscope, If These Walls Could Talk, and Tales from the Darkside, and she continues to explore the quiet power of story to connect, heal, and inspire.
