Maher, Holley

Holley Maher is an illustrator, storyteller, and songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Creative Director behind stationery brand Wink Wink Paper Co. She was recognized as one of the top creative stationers in Middle America by Alive Magazine, and is represented by Writers House Agency in New York.

Holley’s work is bright, colorful, cheeky, and rich in detail, but she also loves to draw things that are spooky, mysterious, and alluring. She finds inspiration in classic folk tales, architecture, old musicals, and textile design, and is deeply inspired by classic mid-century picture books like Madeline, Polly and the Wolf, Tom’s Midnight Garden, and The Littlest Witch. The Strega Nona books by Tomie DePaula were especially cherished in her Italian-American household.
