Steven Wayne is an African American romance fiction writer who comes from the world of entertainment via singing and songwriting. His storytelling style allows readers from all walks of life to follow the journey as though they too were right there walking with his main characters.

He takes you on a journey with his latest installment, She Was My Best Man. Anthony, the protagonist from Steven Wayne’s first novel returns, on his quest for love. In the beginning, you are re-introduced to Anthony who suffered Temporary Demolishment at the hands of Lisa, the woman he thought was the love of his life. But Lisa is behind him, or so he thinks.

When Anthony opens his heart again and falls for a friend, he learns that this love is not lasting. He spirals down a very dark place that causes him to have to reconcile with his past. He’s a strong Black man who loves passion and romance. Convinced he’s found love again; his excitement quickly turns to pain when he realizes that he’s found the one who’s not the one. She Was My Best Man is filled with plot twists and exotic encounters that Anthony experiences along the way.
