Kevin Polk

Kevin was born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University and managed to earn a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He lives on a small farm in Maine with his wife, three dogs, two goats, several thousand honeybees, and a parrot. He spent a career working with Veterans with PTSD and is now retired from that work. Kevin developed the ACT Matrix in 2009, and then the ProSocial Matrix in 2012. His books center on how to use those two diagrams in a variety of settings to increase psychological flexibility and safety.
