DAVID DIAZ CABO

David Díaz was born in Asturias in 1972. A writer specializing in military history and an honorary citizen of Segovia. He was one of the promoters of historical recreation in Spain and promoter of experimental archeology on the Roman world. He was a warrant officer in Spanish Army, studying mechatronics, topography and psychology. Today he works in the private sector. He has previously written numerous articles in specialized publications and is the author of “Wheels and tracks of the Spanish army” (Amazon), “Guide to Spanish Coast Artillery 1900-2008” (Amazon), “Guide to Spanish Artillery 1900- 2020” (Amazon), the two guides to Normandy “Utah and Omaha”/“Gold, Juno and Sword, a guide to Normandy” (HRM Ediciones), “Malvinas 1982, chronicle of the South Atlantic conflict” (HRM Ediciones), "Cannons and missiles in the Malvinas War", "Normandy 1944, tourism through history" (first historical guide in Spanish on the Normandy landings), "The missiles a.a. of NATO and the Warsaw Pact in the Cold War”, “History of the Spanish military uniforms of the 20th century” and “From the halberd to the saber, 1494-2021”.
