Daesol Kim

Daesol Kim is a Korean-British illustrator and author residing in London, England. Having lived in the UK, USA, and South Korea, he experienced a culturally diverse childhood to adolescence. However, the constant relocation meant that Daesol had to endeavour through the adjustment to new cultures. Daesol discovered his freedom and identity through endless hours of doodling in his bedroom and classroom.

Daesol received his bachelor of science in 2015. Shortly after graduation, a teaching opportunity led him to temporarily move to South Korea to serve the younger generation through education.

Now, back in London after six years, his stories are brought to life through his passion for art and his rich experience in the education field. The author of the 'Tired Tom' series and 'Dinosaurs Are Scary!' is currently a teacher in London.
