J D Pullan

Having loved to read and write since childhood and, after a career in finance and HR, J.D.Pullan gave up work in 2018 to pursue her dream of writing the book that had been developing in her imagination for well over ten years. She grew up in the West Country, where her debut novel is set, and now lives in the Wye Valley, Monmouthshire with her husband and two lassie collies.

The books she enjoys most have real-life characters in familiar locations and everyday situations. A narrative anyone can relate to, but where things aren't always what they seem. Books that keep you intrigued, wanting to read just one more chapter and keep you guessing until the very end… and which make you ponder for a long time afterwards about the characters and what you would do if you were ever in the same situation. This is also what she aims to achieve in her own writing.
