Claire Buttrum is a somatic therapist and neurodivergent author based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, where she runs Harmony Healing Services. Before retraining as a therapist she spent years as a yoga instructor, dance teacher and choreographer, a relationship between music, movement and feeling that runs through everything she writes.
She works with families navigating neurodivergence, chronic illness, and the gap between what people need and what the systems around them provide. Her fiction grows directly from that work and from her own lived experience.
Little Bird is her first novella under her own imprint, Bright Raven Press, the first title in The Liminal Series. A percentage of every sale funds The Little Bird Fund, which provides subsidised therapy sessions for young people and students in Cambridgeshire who cannot afford full rates.
Her second novella, Distant Sky, is forthcoming.
