Avalon Nuovo

Avalon Nuovo is an illustrator and sometimes-animator from Los Angeles. After finishing her BFA in illustration at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena and Konstfack University in Stockholm, she made her way to her current home of Amsterdam by way of London and Cambridge. With an ever-growing list of clients from The New York Times to WeTransfer, Snapchat and The Washington post, her work likes to find the sweet spot between realism and dramatic geometry, and can be easily spotted by its bold use of color and atmospheric lighting.

When she is not drawing or thinking about drawing -- which is unusual-- she is playing guitar, cooking for as many friends as will fit at her dining table, or going on long walks on the canals.
