John Wright is a doctor and epidemiologist who has worked for over 30 years in Africa and the UK. He set up and leads the Bradford Institute for Health Research and the Born in Bradford birth cohort study. He is a veteran of cholera, HIV and Ebola epidemics in sub-Saharan Africa and an expert in international public health.
He has written and broadcast extensively on health and research themes, most recently the Coronavirus Doctors Diary and the NHS Frontline for the BBC and the long-running Born in Bradford series.
