Kate Arnac

Kate Arnac was born in the Netherlands and lived in the USA. She now lives in France with her 2 cats. She has a master degree in Law and Psychology and worked as a lawyer and a coach. She now writes full time.

I was born and raised in Amsterdam. When I was 4 I wrote my first book. About a centipede. I made the illustrations myself. I wrote my first detective when I was 14. And I have kept on going ever since. I got my master at law when I was 25 and at 27 I married a musician and started writing lyrics, which you can find in my songbook. I worked as a lawyer but through mediation became interested in psychology. So I went back to the university of Amsterdam to get my master in clinical psychology. That's when I became a part time coach.

Recently I have taken a sabbatical, moved to France (Bretagne), deciding it was time to fulfill my dream of writing full time. I have always loved reading romance myself, so that's what I write, mostly. But always with a twist. Things are never straight forward and my heroins are real women, facing real life problems.
