Danette Smith

Danette's wonderful parents always encouraged her love of art and books. She grew up sketching animals at the zoo and reading with her mom at bedtime. Danette met her husband at BYU and after she received her Bachelors of Art in Communication they started their own little family where Danette continued the tradition of sketchbooks at the zoo and reading to her children. Now she enjoys writing and illustrating the Norman book series for her grandchildren to enjoy. She is happy to be able to teach children Latter-day Saint values as they follow Norman and the Mouse family.
