Heather Garcia

Heather Garcia is co-author of "3 Minute Tips for Teachers: A Toolbox of Ideas for Teachers to Use the Entire School Year" and has taught courses ranging from elementary-level art full of fingerpaint and clay modeling to high school remedial reading and writing to Advanced Placement Literature. She has been a new-teacher mentor for over ten years.

Her current teaching assignment has extended to coaching and mentoring middle and high school teachers from across her school district as a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist. She models lessons with students, helping fill gaps and demonstrate practical classroom management and instructional styles, and she works closely with new and experienced teachers as they navigate the nuances of teaching.

In addition to this position, trains teachers from across the nation through conferences and personalized professional development sessions.
