Steve Cichon

Steve Cichon is a writer, journalist and educator in Buffalo, NY. He writes about Buffalo and Western New York’s pop culture history as well as his experiences growing up in a giant working-class South Buffalo family.

After working in radio and TV news for 20 years, Cichon has spent the last decade writing the BN Chronicles history column for The Buffalo News and teaching at the college and high school levels, currently at Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School.

Steve also hosts the Wonderin’ How I Got Here podcast, and publishes and writes the Buffalo history website buffalostories.com.
