Nancy Gerber

Nancy Gerber is an art psychotherapist, educator, and scholar. She is currently faculty in the graduate Art Therapy Program at Florida State University and Associate Clinical Professor Emerita from Drexel University. She was the creator and former director of the doctoral program in Creative Arts Therapies at Drexel University. She has published and presented internationally on doctoral education in the arts therapies, art therapy research strategic planning, mixed methods research, and arts-based research. Through her years of clinical practice, teaching, and research she has developed an interest in creating ways to capture and study the complexities and dimensions of the human condition through research methods that include and synthesize imaginative processes and arts-based practices.
