D Ike Horst

D. Ike Horst is a contemporary re-naissance man and storyteller out of a small town in east-ern Missouri. He is most at home in the wilderness with his farm dog at his side, but he also relishes the opportunity to sit with pen and paper and build worlds. Before pursuing authorship, he did work as a wildland firefighter, trail builder, timber harvester, compounding pharmacy technician, and emer-gency management team member. In his off-time, Horst is passionate about weightlifting, role-playing, back-country hiking, and asking deep theological questions.
